The various Mindit Assist versions (E2, MUSE, SideKick) can be combined in many ways to provide support any business need. Scheme A - Is a simple single user E2 + optional Mindit Sidekick. Scheme B - Shows how multiple E2 Mindit Assist users can be setup to share common resources (Data, Task, Attachments, etc) over a LAN. Each copy of E2 keeps a copy of the shared data should the LAN go down, or the computer be removed - as might be the case with a salesperson’s notebook. Scheme C - Shows how multiple users can be handled with a single MUSE install. Depending on user activity and settings, a MUSE version can handle up to 30 mobile and in-office users. Note: In-office users each require a copy of SideKick (SK2). Scheme D - Shows how multiple installs of MUSE can be used to support additional users. Each MUSE package is a separate assistant that looks after up to 30 users. In this scheme all MUSE packages share a common set of resources, making it easy to update and maintain data for all users. Note: Each copy of MUSE keeps a local copy of all shared resources should the LAN go down. Scheme E - Shows how Mindit Assist can be deployed to support the concept of departments. In this example Assistant B is assigned to look after the users of a department, providing additional department specific resources that are not shared with other users/ departments. It should be noted that Assistant B users still have access to the main shared resources. |
